Standard rooms are small, dark, airless and without furnishings. Calling them dump is reductive. The comfort rooms are a little better but incompatible for a 3 star hotel and for the prices charged. Don't make the mistake of asking for an upgrade as the rude staff can't wait to overcharge you. Calling the bathtub on the roof a swimming pool is ridiculous. Wi-fi is inefficient and we found the sink clogged

Great hotel and good location, a short walk from the noisy busy La Rambla, far enough not to hear the noise. We had a lovely spacious deluxe room, upgraded we believe as paid for superior. The only criticism about the room is the balcony, we didn’t use as we had to share with a number of pigeons, an idea to place a mesh to avoid this would be great. Breakfast was plentiful and varied on hot items while we were there. The bar on ground floor was great of an evening however this closed on 01st May and we had to use rooftop bar, which unfortunately was still chilly and quite windy start of May, many guests felt this as well. If the bar remained open on ground floor they’d get more business as some of us older guest do not want to be outside. Also no coffee machine on rooftop. Staff were great and extremely welcoming. Yes we would stay again.

Great location, just two side streets from Las Ramblas and the Boqueria (food market). Arrived early to a warm welcome, and able to go straight to our room. Great comfortable family sized room, (Deluxe), water and coffee machine in room. Lovely continental breakfast, great service and food quality. Children loved it. Small pool on roof, plenty of space to sunbathe and a pool bar.

Just home from a 3 night stay at Leonardo hotel. It was a great choice, easy to find, fast and friendly check in, very comfy bed, room was cleaned every day. Good breakfast times. Roof top terrace and plunge pool great. Easy for the metro, las Ramblas and gothic centre. Will definitely stay again when next visit.

City hotels can be very small and worn. We arrived to the hotel which was located 5 minutes from the Metro. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Checking in was fast and without any problems. Our room was clean and relatively spacious for a city hotel. We were welcomed by a bottle of red wine, coffee machine, bottled water and fresh fruit. It was a lovely surprise. The room was cleaned very nicely daily. If we were to come back to Barcelona we would chose this hotel again.
